Ottawa, May 8, 2008 - The Ottawa Tulip Festival is in full swing and I accompanied mommy and grand-mommys to Dow's Lake to see all varieties and colors of tulips. This is Lalitha's favourite flower and she has been wanting to see them ever since she first saw them in "Silsila" where a scene was set in Holland. She was expecting to see fields and fields of tulips so she was somewhat disappointed, but she still got some surprises and enjoyed herself. Today is also my uncle Abhi's birthday and I give him my warm wishes and blessings.
Here I pose for photograph with ladies in tow.

I am a bit overwhelmed by the dazzling colors all around me and also have donned my bunny cap to fight the chill.
In the presence of these bursts of color I am confronted with a career choice - painter or poet. But then again I also love faucets...
