Fun at playgroup

I take Mommy to lots of playgroups. She likes to meet new people and play with the toys. This one is at Severn Public School and is an Early Literacy Centre, or at least so the sign says. Here, I am showing Mommy and this little girl how to use the pegboard. The pegs are also fun to chew
on.

I like to play on the farm. Helps me stay in touch with my cowboy roots. This one had real hay! I offered to lasso the horsey, but the hall monitor discouraged it. I don't know why...

My favourite spot is the sand box. I like to fling the sand onto the floor but the room monitor always says "shush!" So I tell her that Mommy did it.

And what are we playing with? Dinosaurs! Grroww! I've seen dinosaurs before - Mommy takes me to the Museum of Nature where they are life size! I have to hold her hand so she doesn't get scared.

Am I too cute or what?

Here's Mommy throwing the sand around. Shh - don't tell the room monitor!

I like to help Mommy in the kitchen at home. When I am at the playgroup I get to show off my kitchen skills! I know how to use the microwave oven, and how to turn on the taps.

My kitchen at this playgroup is well stocked with pots, pans, knives and plates, pineapples, sushi, olives, and pizza - everything a little baby could want!

All this playing is making me hungry. I asked the little girl if she wanted to share, but she was too busy munching off her huge tuna sandwich and ignored me...

So I turned to the fuzzy ball bin for consolation. "Mommy, that little girl won't share!" I exclaimed. She consoled me and gave me milky, which was even better than a tuna sandwich.

Pretty, colourful fuzzy balls.

I chewed on some foam blocks, drove the cars around the room, then it was time to go. See you next time!!

Little Tensing

March 1, 2009 - On a warm sunny spring day we went to a play structure with rope ladders, mazes, little rooms filled with giant balls and lots and lots of children running around... all of them bigger than me. But patiently I made my way up...
