Orchids and Cake

April 27, Ottawa - Today I was taken to an Orchid show. Grandma Roma came to celebrate Oni's birthday, and mommy drove us all by car.

I saw all kinds of beautiful orchids. Will I become an orchid enthusiast like Grandma Roma?

Or will I become a lover of chocolate cake (and all manner of food...) like mommy? This is the first time Oni cut a cake for her birthday. In Lucknow she used to celebrate birthdays by having a dinner party with neighbours, here she is blowing candles with her little grand-baby Manyu.

As the cake was being cut, I was busy flapping my arms like a little bird.

And I was so happy to sit in Grandma Roma's lap.
