Nov. 9, Ottawa - Nice sunny morning and what better thing to do after breakfast than to walk to the nearby Andrew Hayden park?

I wanted to go the play structures in the sand

This is one where we have to climb up a wooden ladder to a platform from where we can slide down a plastic slide

Mason, my new friend, was there to load my truck with some soil

Ducks in Riverside

Nov. 7, 2009 - It was sunny today and after the H1N1 flu shot I went to see ducks.

I chased them with a stick

Then I fed them

Papa told me about the ways of the duck

And mama told me about other birds.

Feels like I could barely crawl a couple of years ago.

And here I am speeding along...

Had a fun outing in Valley View Little Animal farm with family and friends

Shared my birthday cake with my buddies too...

At home I make my own cake though.

I have put in some solid hours learning how to drive Swetha aunty and Krishna uncle's truck. Therefore it should come as no surprise that I am working as a part time trucker.

I load it up with important stones (sometimes Mommy's bangles)

And I run to get even more stones

I have my own portable power supply who pushes me when I say "Come" and pull him.

Sometimes I get lost and ask the flowers - "Where is my truck?"

Anyway here is my weekly report -

This has been a great few days for Avi. He has been enjoying playgroupsand the library very much. After naptime, he enjoys climbing up ontothe sofa and paging through books while he waits for the girls to gethome from school. Then we have snack, and a story-time. Library daywill be Tuesdays, so we will visit to enjoy the program, and to exchangeour books. Last week Avi picked a Caillou book for his choice.At lunch time today he ate well, had a second helping of my home-mademac&cheese, and cleared his dishes to the counter after he was finished.He also puts his little bowl up on the counter after snack-time. AtChildren's Village playgroup, snack is served on a napkin, with a littlepaper-cup of diluted juice. He always remembers to put his napkin inhis cup, and carry them to the garbage. He is very conscientious.This week we are still playing with the barn toys and farm animals. Weare also talking about the fall, the weather, how leaves will changecolour, and apples.

Manyu and the Pumpkin Farm

I was taken to pumpkin farm today.

I sat and inspected mud.

Then mama took me to the farm store

Where I lay down and inspected mud

Until I was uprooted by papa

Manyu In Experimental Farm

Warm days in 2009 are coming to an end so on a sunny day I headed to Experimental farm.

I am big enough now to bully some kids around, and will wage war if need be with my war cry - "Mine!"

We went for a very slow horse ride where I almost fell asleep

Papa carried me part of the way

There were also some animals running around. I will be back again, but only next year when the sun is back and the days are warm again.
